Eyes On was founded by two SEAL Team 6 officers who retired from the military after very distinguished 20 year+ careers - but were still keen to find a different way to make a difference. Fed up with irresponsible coverage of the military and national security, they vowed to help Hollywood get things right. Not only to make things more respectful towards those who served, and those who have given their lives, but to ensure that plots and characters were not recklessly creating national security problems.

Hollywood immediately welcomed their expertise and advice. They became so in demand they had to rapidly staff up drawing upon their unique rolodex of the world’s most accomplished warriors - not to mention the remarkable specialists who are vital to today’s combat. The founders reached out to only the very best from the top hackers through to the leading future weapons experts and martial arts coaches.

Now the team includes retired special operations men hailing from Army, Air Force, Marines - in addition to Navy SEALs. We often provide films with former Special Operations helicopter pilots, for example.

We’ve also recruited immensely talented writers with remarkable backgrounds who can draw from real experience in military, counter-terrorism, and national security work. Eyes On deploys them to assist established writers’ rooms, but also regularly receives commissions to create original concepts and scripts for both film and television. All of our writers accept ‘ghostwriting’ terms of engagement with clients and frequently do so.

Eyes On provides a range of discreet, Tier 1 consulting and expert advice to makers of film and television. In addition, we work directly with the talent from actors and set design through to writers’ room and directors.

For actors, we most frequently provide coaches who have unmatched real-life experience in the jobs they are playing in film and television. On SEAL Team 6 to achieve authenticity and respectful performances, for example, we provide coaching on everything from weapons handling through to how SEALs interact with their families in real life. On Wonder Woman, we provided extraordinary women who previously served in clandestine roles to coach the Amazons on realistic hand to hand fighting.

Directors often reach out for us to provide guidance on realism in combat scenarios - but also to advise their teams on realism down to the tiniest detail in costume and props. In some cases, it may involve historic accuracy portraying WWII battles and in others it may involve advising on realism for staging a raid on a terrorist complex in the Jack Ryan series, for example.

Leading film studios from Legendary Pictures through to Sony, Warner and Universal - as well as the most watched broadcast networks ranging from US HBO, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS through to UK BBC, Channel 4 and Sky Atlantic- commission us to create original concepts and scripts in the military/thriller genres. But they also contract us regularly to "fix” projects they have already bought from others. When called upon, we draw upon our unique rolodex of genuine special operations men to provide casting solutions for clients like Netflix and Amazon.

This policy is important. Many of our team worked in clandestine positions before joining us.

Families can be subject to risks, like reprisals, when identities are exposed - even if retired.

For security, all clients are required to sign NDAs to utilise our expertise and consultation.

Television

It has also been such a privilege to work with some of the best US and UK networks as well as their top production companies on television projects. A few of our recent consulting projects include: Homeland, Long Road Home, Hunted (UK original and US follow up series), Generation Kill, SEAL Team, Jack Ryan and Soviet espionage series The Americans airing US/UK.
